heyo! i'm Jessie, but you might know me as demure-serenity.I'm a fulltime student going into stem research. one day you'll have to call me dr >;)i’m a self-taught artist and i do art as a hobby. i just make stuff that i like, and unfortunately, that also means my art style is very experimental haha...i've been doing art since i was a toddler but i didn't start doing digital art until i was in middle school. I drew digitally on and off for around... 6 years maybe? I only started taking it seriously in late 2020. i pretty much haven't drawn anything but KYD-related stuff since then X0i still have plenty to learn :)

what do you use to draw?
ibispaintx and my iPad! for final edits and animation, i use clip studio paint on my computer + my wacom intuos. for animations, i also use flipaclip.
do you take commissions?

how long has "kill your darlings" been in development?
since late December 2020 :)
when does the comic update?
currently... once a month on a Saturday :( you can read early updates on my patreon though!
Do you have the entire story planned out?
i have a rough outline with key scenes written out. every few weeks, I will refer back to my outline and I will script out the story by episode. There will be 3 seasons/3 arcs in total. Right now, we're somewhere around the beginning-middle of the first arc ;0 The first arc is the longest since it mostly focuses on the slow-burn development of the characters. I'm not completely happy with the second and third arc yet though, but I'll make future me deal with that hahah.
can i make fan art/writing/etc.?
YES!!! yes, please do!! i will love you forever, print it out, and post it on my wall. i love receiving fanart ヽ( ´￢`)ノ if you do make fanart, you can send it to me by email, by discord, or by tagging me on insta. I'll also feature your art in the following episode with your permission! honestly, just feel free to create any kind of fan content (animations, fanfiction etc.) if you write fanfic i might actually die. like spontaneous combustion, ya know?
